Administrator’s Letter

Hello Everyone,

It was a pleasure playing and singing for you in May. Yes, that was the first time that my saxophone has made a public appearance outside of the music room at home. Somehow, we all survived the experience lol. All joking aside, I have great respect for the power of music. It deeply unites us and brings joy to our lives. As an artist I have always tried to show my heart and bring on a party. We will do it again soon.

Saint Ann’s is getting closer to being back to normal. A big thank you to the residents and staff that have embraced the vaccine campaign. It has been a wonderful month welcoming back our volunteers and visitors. The simple things returning are greatly appreciated, like regular mail delivery and items back in our vending machines. As we wait for further guidance regarding mask wearing, I can personally say how excited I am for the day that we can live and work here without them.

We would like to thank everyone who donated to our “Spare Change” Fundraiser and the Coney Dog Fundraiser.  They were both very successful , and with the private donations it allows us to update the Social Hall sound system.  When we start having large gatherings in the Social Hall again, everyone will be able to hear everything.  Thank you again.

You might be noticing some new faces at Saint Ann’s. I know I can count on you to make our new residents feel welcome.

Have a great month!

Sincerely,

Scott and Jan
