May Administrator’s Letter

Happy Spring everyone,

I have really been enjoying seeing the icebergs floating around the harbor. I can’t remember a time when there was this much snow and ice on the lake this late into Spring. I’m disappointed that I haven’t had my camera out to capture it. Here are few things that are happening that we have been talking about:

Camera Security System:

As of April 25, 2019 the system is on-line. The programing is being finished up and all of the cameras inside of the building are turned on. There is a little work left to do on the outside cameras, but this is the end to this large project.

Patio:

The patio is traditionally opened up on Memorial Day weekend, and that is what we are aiming for again this year.

Bus:

We needed a few repairs on the bus (the air conditioner and the lift), but we are anticipating to have it on site by Friday, May 3rd. The fee for bus outings will be $6 this year.  May 3rd is the first sign-up this year.

Auxiliary:

Saint Ann’s is starting an auxiliary club.  If you would like to learn more about the auxiliary please see Sharon or Jan. There are many things an auxiliary can choose to do to help Saint Ann’s and those that live and work here. This is an exciting group to be a part of.

REAC inspection:

We passed the REAC inspection. They inspected 16 apartments and all the common areas. Thank you to everyone who made this possible.

Have a great month everyone!

Sincerely,

Scott and Jan
