April Administrator’s Letter

April can be a challenging month for many people in our area. The weather is grey and cold one day, sunny and beautiful the next. Hopefully April showers will bring May flowers and the sun will shine and the snow will melt away.

Join us on April 4th at 2:00 in the Social Hall for Open Forum. This is a time to meet with administration and find out what is going on at St. Ann’s. This month we will honor the Above and Beyond Employees from March and April. Then from 2:00 to 2:30 Scott will give the Administrator’s report. At 2:30 we will have a special guest. Maise Blaine, the State Ombudsman for Long term Care will give a presentation on, “Understanding our Differences.”  She will also be doing some training with our staff at the end of the month.

Congratulations and Thank you to all who helped making our March Rummage and Bake Sale a success. Over $5,300 was raised in two days. Remarkable!

April is National Volunteer Month! Thank you for all of you who volunteer to make St. Ann’s such a special place. If you are not a registered volunteer check with Sharon and the Resident Program staff and get signed up. There are many ways you can volunteer.

Congratulations to the new Resident Council members! Nancy Marotta, Father Dan Dahlberg, Judy Hoffman and Chuck Carlson are joining the current members: Nancy Glad, Dorothy Miller, Karen Valentine, Father Doyle, Bea Banicki, Lorraine Singleton, Donna Dodge and oris DeGaetano.

A special THANK YOU TO DOROTHY KRABBE for serving on the council since…..Dorothy thank you for your years of service.

Have a Great Month and Happy Spring!

Sincerely,

Scott and Jan
